Armchair tour of the british countryside - new tour
Southwest Scotland, the Lake District and Northumberland
Join us for a convivial event. I will take you on a virtual adventure though the timeless beauty of Britain’s countryside. Southwest Scotland offers rolling hills and aristocratic estates, the Lake District enchants with dramatic fells and literary charm, while Northumberland captivates with vast moorlands, ancient castles, and a rugged, untamed serenity.
I will keep the presentation short: just 30 minutes plus questions. The rest of the time will be spent sampling Deer Hill's delicious wines, nibbling appetizers, and socializing with garden lovers and history buffs.
Deer Hill Vineyards is a small family-owned winery which is, surprisingly, located in the heart of Lafayette. Bill, the owner, handcrafts small batches of award-winning wines and offers private tastings in his wonderful tasting room.
So come along, sit back, and get ready to be carried away on this journey through the lovely British Countryside.
