Please read this information carefully, as payment of a $500 deposit per person represents your acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Payment Schedule & Refund Policy:
a) A $500 per person deposit is required to reserve a space on the tour. Deposit will be returned if cancelled within 15 days of booking your tour [3 days if you book within 60 days of the start of the tour]. Subsequently, no refund unless the place can be filled.
b) The final balance will be due, in full, on February 12, 2024. Mailed checks post-marked with the relevant date are acceptable.
c) Once the tour reaches the maximum enrollment limit of 18, a waiting list will be maintained. The minimum number for the trip to proceed at the quoted price is 12 guests. If the minimum is not reached, alternative dates or a smaller tour at a higher price will be offered, or your entire payment will be refunded in full.
d) Cancellation by client: Although fees are generally non-refundable after the final balance date, a refund may be possible if a replacement from the waiting list is available to take your spot. Cancellations must be notified in writing and by phone.
e) Cancellation by company: Rose & Heather Tours will refund all payments but retains the right to make a partial refund or issue a credit note towards a future tour at its own discretion, if cancellation is due to circumstances beyond its control. Insurance is recommended (see below).
e) Payments may be made by check or credit card. As a small business, we prefer a personal check or e-check, if possible. Make checks payable to Rose & Heather Tours. The mailing address is provided on completion of the Booking Form.
2. Included in Tour Price
Hotels, executive minibus, all breakfasts and half the dinners, all entry fees for group activities, airport transfers to Central London or London Heathrow, most gratuities, and the services of the Tour Director.
3. Not included in Tour Price
Airfare; travel protection insurance; costs of passports and visas; personal expenses such as beverages, laundry, room service, and meals not specified; communication charges; optional sightseeing. Additional baggage fees may apply and are subject to change at any time. You should confirm directly with your airline prior to departure.
4. Insurance
a) We strongly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance, which includes expenses related to cancellation due to illness, accident and pandemic-related trip problems. Baggage insurance is also recommended. In the event you must cancel your participation in the tour, trip cancellation insurance may be the only source of reimbursement.
b) Cancel for Any Reason insurance is worth considering as it provides greater protection. Especially if you simply change your mind.
b) Check your credit card and healthcare providers concerning coverage whilst traveling internationally.
5. Health and Medical Issues a) We request that you be in good health and fit enough to participate in a Rose & Heather tour.
b) We encourage you to stay up-to-date with seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccines prior to travel in order to protect against severe respiratory illness.
b) There is a reasonable amount of walking, steps and slopes (often uneven ground, floors, staircases) and some hotels do not have elevators. You must be able to walk 1-2 miles at a time and get on and off a minibus several times a day. We regret that we cannot offer individual assistance; in such cases you must be accompanied by a companion who will assist you. Please note that some of our destinations cannot accommodate wheelchairs.
c) We want everyone to enjoy good health during the tour. Wearing a face mask while on tour is optional unless you're exhibiting symptoms commonly associated with a contagious illness (such as a cold, flu, Covid, etc) while on tour, you will be required to wear a N95/KN95 mask on the bus and in other indoor settings when with your group. We request that you bring a mask with you. Alternatively, we will ask you to remain at the hotel until you can safely rejoin the group. Any transfer to the next hotel will be at your expense.
d) We reserve the right to remove anyone whose physical or mental condition, in our opinion, adversely affects the operation of the tour or detracts from the enjoyment or safety of the other passengers. In that event, Rose & Heather Tours assumes no financial responsibility for any unused portion of the tour. 6. Responsibility
